Part of Let’s Go Zero, Climate Action Advisors are independent experts who offer free support for schools, colleges, and nurseries across England.

Develop a sustainable travel plan

Develop a programme to increase the use of methods like walking, cycling and carpooling, in journeys to and from your setting. Use your travel survey and continued engagement with your community to identify the most effective actions to take.

Encouraging active travel methods will have multiple benefits including, improving the mental health and wellbeing of your community, reducing traffic congestion, and reducing your setting's carbon footprint.
