Communicate with parents on climate action

Regularly engage with parents about your setting's sustainability efforts and climate education aims, and how they can support these initiatives at home. This approach creates a consistent message between your setting and your children and young people's home lives by reinforcing sustainability and climate-related learning and activities.

This step will help you to foster a collaborative approach to sustainability, and create opportunities for parents to provide time and resources to support your goals. Engaged parents are more likely to reinforce and participate in your climate action efforts.
