Engage a specialist to complete a Building Condition Survey

Look to hire a specialist to complete a Building Condition Survey, if you don’t already have one. The survey will assess the physical state of your settings facilities. It will give you a report on the structural integrity and maintenance requirements of your setting, and identify opportunities to enhance sustainability and decarbonisation efforts.

A Building Condition Survey typically involves a visual inspection of both the interior and exterior of the property, assessing structural elements such as roofing, foundations, plumbing, electrical systems, and ventilation. The expert can identify areas where energy efficiency can be improved, recommend sustainable materials for repairs, and suggest upgrades to reduce the building’s overall carbon footprint. This will be a key enabler in improving the energy efficiency of your buildings, and can reduce your carbon footprint. The improvements identified through this survey can create long term cost savings, while also improving building maintenance issues.
