Part of Let’s Go Zero, Climate Action Advisors are independent experts who offer free support for schools, colleges, and nurseries across England.

Establish a regular climate anxiety survey

Routinely ask your staff and learners about their feelings and worries regarding climate change. By gaining insight into the emotional and psychological impacts of climate change and related issues, you can develop strategies to address them and integrate into your wider climate action planning.

It is important to do the survey on a regular basis so that you can monitor any changes over time, and assess the effectiveness of your interventions. This action will work towards developing your community's wellbeing, by creating a supportive environment where everyone feels heard and agency is developed over time.
