Identify some water management quick wins

Look to make improvements to any water management systems you have in place currently. Aim to reduce water consumption, stop leaks and mitigate water damage risks.

You may choose to buy into a new water management system or upgrade an existing one. There are also other lower cost options to help fix leaks and install water saving devices.

Look at the behavioural practices of your staff and learners. Educating them on ways to reduce their daily water consumption can tie into your wider behavioural change programme.

Benefits include reducing water wastage and associated costs, building sustainable practices and behaviours. Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) can help improve the aesthetics of your grounds while building their resilience to droughts and water shortages.
