Arrange basic energy awareness training for all staff

Energy awareness training is an important step towards changing behaviours and getting buy-in, with the aim to conserve energy and reduce consumption across your setting.

Training should include practical tips like turning off lights and equipment when not in use, optimising heating and cooling settings, and using energy-efficient appliances.

This training empowers everyone to contribute to energy-saving efforts, making your setting more environmentally friendly and creating a positive example for all learners and the wider community. Benefits include lowering energy costs, reducing your setting's carbon footprint, and fostering a culture of sustainability.
