Identify some quick wins to increase biodiversity at your setting
Use the results of your biodiversity assessment to identify relatively easy and low-cost measures to enhance the variety of plant and animal life in and around your setting. This can include planting native wildflowers, creating insect hotels, or installing bird feeders.
Involving your children and young people in this action creates an excellent opportunity for them to learn about wildlife, ecosystems and conservation. Taking action on quick wins can result in immediate improvements to the biodiversity of your site or surrounding area, even for those with little to no outdoor space. This can build buy-in for more comprehensive actions in the future.
This action demonstrates your commitment to environmental stewardship and will contribute to local biodiversity conservation efforts.
