Taking the first steps

For settings that are starting to make changes

Look at national policy to get a sense of what's expected over the coming years. Collaboration with other settings and organisations will help you make progress towards this.

Create your Climate Action Plan

Sustainability fundamentals

Once your key decision makers are feeling confident on sustainability, it's time to develop a short term Climate Action Plan. All settings are required to have a Climate Action Plan by 2025.

Training is important to help your community feel empowered to create a sustainable setting. A CPD audit will help you decide what your staff and volunteers will need.
